RULES FOR 11 A SIDE TOURNAMENT

UMPIRE:
1 - 3 Referees will officiate the game.
2 – All Referee decisions are final.

DURATION:
1 - 30 minutes each half with 5 minute break for the league games.
2 - 35 minutes each half with 5-minute break followed 7-1/2 min each half for golden goal by penalties for Knock out games.

TIMINGS:
1 – Every Sunday – details on the fixture

NUMBER OF PLAYERS & SUBSITUTION:
1 - 11 players including a goalkeeper will be allowed to play with as many players as rolling substitutes
2 – No player can play for 2 teams.
3 – You may have different 11 players on different days but no player should have played for any other team. If a player has not played in the league games, he will not be allowed to play in the knock out games.

CARDS:
1 – 2 Yellow cards is suspension for 1 game.
2 – 1 Red card is suspension for 1 game
3 – Any team indulging in violence will be debarred from the tournament.
4 – Any player indulging in violence will be debarred from the tournament

POINTS:
1 - 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.
2 – Incase of tie on points – the order will be as follows:
Goal difference, goals scored for, Head to head or a toss if everything is the same.

RESCHEDULES:
No reschedules of the games will be permitted. If you cannot field a team then it will be a walkover with a 3 – 0 goal difference awarded against your team.

In case a reschedule is quite necessary, please arrange then the game with the rival captain at your own cost and inform the results to Drazen or me.

OTHER RULES:

All normal other rules of soccer for 11 a side will apply besides the one’s mentioned already

SOCCER BALL:
All teams are requested to carry their own soccer balls to play.

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST AS THIS A DIPLOMATIC TOURNAMENT TO PROMOTE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE FOREIGNORS POSTED TO INDIA AND INDIANS WORKING HERE – I HOPE NO FIGHTS HAPPEN AND REMEMBER IT IS ONLY A FUN TOURNAMENT.

So to make sure that they are no fights it is informed to all teams that they will not be allowed to use more then 4 players per team who are currently playing the SENIOR DIVISION LEAGUE or ANY STATE LEVEL IN INDIA or who have played the same level in the last 2 years. We do not want to conduct a parallel league for the All India Football Federation here. If it is very important for teams to win – please let us know we will buy them trophies. Under no circumstances more then 2 players from any State Team will be allowed to play.
